One of the membership benefits is that you can participate in club-sponsored shows and exhibits. All shows listed on our website are organized by and for our members (yes, you have to be a member to participate in our club organized mineral shows). In our Hawaii mineral shows members can display and/or sell minerals, rocks, fossils and lapidary items including jewelry.
The Rock and Mineral Society of Hawaii aims to organize at least two mineral shows a year. One in the winter/spring and one in the fall.
Our Annual Hawaiʻi Rock and Mineral Show had been held for over a decade in Waikiki at the Outrigger by the Beach Resort (or other incarnations of the hotel name). 2016 was our 15th Annual Hawaii Rock and Mineral Show.
For the past few years we added a second show The Hawaiʻi Gem and Mineral Show at the Honolulu Museum of Art School. Also known as the gloriously beautiful Linekona Building, it is across the street from the Honolulu Museum of Art. We are often found on the second floor of the building.
Please contact us if you want to be put on a mailing list for upcoming shows
Our Hawaii Mineral Shows are announced on our website and a wide variety of Internet sites.
