One Day Hawaii Mineral and Rock Show. September 6, 2025 at Washinton Middle School in Honolulu

Please join us on Saturday, September 6 from 10 to 5 for a cafeteria full of full of gem stones, minerals, vintage and contemporary jewelry, fossils and meteorites for sale and enjoyment by 100% local vendors.

As always, our mineral show/sale is organized by the members of the Rock and Mineral Society of Hawaiʻi, and open to everyone.

This is a great opportunity to see, touch and purchase rocks, gems, minerals, fossils, vintage and contemporary jewelry, even meteorites that we all learn about in school.  It’s a remarkable hands-on opportunity for attendees to experience the wonders of geology and planetary sciences in a local, interactive setting.  Our club members love to share their passion and knowledge. Please come and join us. (Yes, Zippy’s is right next door, DH should you get hungry)

Free admission and free parking! (with overflow parking on the lawn at the right hand side of the entrance, driving in. See photos below)

In the school’s cafeteria you will see gems and minerals (there are too many to list them all): Alexandrite, Amethyst, Agate, Aquamarine, and Jasper, Diamond, Fossils, Garnet, Jadeite (Jade and Nephrite Jade), Meteorite, Moldavide, Opal, Pearls, Peridot, Quartz Crystals, Ruby, Sapphire, Shark teeth, Stilbite, Tanzanite, Topaz, Tourmaline, Tsavorite Garnet, Turquoise, Zircon and many more. Come and see our great array of beautiful minerals and gem stones from a dozen of 100% local vendors.

  • Some vendors only take cash, please plan accordingly.

Finding the cafeteria:

Walk to the bottom of the parking lot (downhill) and after passing the trunk of a majestic monkeypod you see the entrance to the cafeteria to the right.  The Bus 1 and 6 stop at the Hele gas station, before Punahou St.
